SoftChalk Create releases a new update…

And it is a BIG one!

Why is it such an important update you ask?

For about a year now, SoftChalk users have been restricted in their browser choice for launching the Create program. Many browsers have stopped supporting the plugin needed to complete the launch of our editor from SoftChalk Cloud.

Well, the day has come where you are restricted no more! SoftChalk has now released a new update that allows you to launch SoftChalk Create from ANY web browser!

Here are a few quick notes regarding the update:

  • The installation time is generally less than five minutes.
  • Once installed, you will be able to start SoftChalk Create from your desktop as you do now with Local Launch. (See our new desktop logo above!)
  • With this installation, Local Launch will be removed automatically from your computer, but fear not! The new SoftChalk Create icon will replace it, and act exactly the same as the old Local Launch did.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must complete the update in order to properly use SoftChalk Create in its current web launch and Local Launch form. This will be the only way you will continue to receive updates to SoftChalk Create. If you do not complete the update, you will be working in an out of date version of the product that may lead to technical issues in the future.

    Hello, I have SC Create 10 and received an email that I need to update this version. However, I can’t figure out how to update it. I still have the green SC logo – not the blue one that I am supposed to have. Can you help? Thank you.

    I am a student at Mercer Univesity. I am attempting to access a soft chalk lesson in one of my courses. I have not been able to do so. I am receiving an error message. Please either email me or call me at 404-626-2519.
