This year, I represented SoftChalk with my colleague and SoftChalk Customer Success Manager Julie Mihm at the QM Connect Conference in Tucson, Arizona. After two years of virtual only events, I felt elated and inspired to be attending an in person event. The conference was held from November 6 – 9, 2022 at the beautiful Loews Ventana Canyon resort.
Quality Matters conferences bring together thought leaders, administrators, teachers, instructional designers, and educators from across the globe to deliver on the promise of online learning. From pre-conference workshops to the keynote address to dozens of breakout sessions, QM Conferences connect the online and blended learning community with the tools and resources they need to create quality learning environments and clear pathways to learner success.
The theme of the event was “Expanding Possibilities” and the various sessions offered throughout the conference answered these key questions:
What fresh ideas can educators implement in their courses? How can we move beyond a focus on course design? Where do we go next with our collective quality assurance efforts?
It was fantastic to meet customers, industry leaders and other higher education educators face to face. I had some great conversations about what the future of eLearning looked like and how SoftChalk can continue to be a strategic partner to deliver high quality eLearning. Learning and collaborating with educators from across the nation was a fresh breath of inspiration and motivation to creating new pathways for growth and innovation at SoftChalk.
It was also great to meet our partners, Quality Matters! Quality Matters is the global organization leading quality assurance in online and innovative digital teaching and learning environments.
