We listened to your feedback and have been working hard to bring YOU, our users, new features to help make building SoftChalk lessons faster and easier. That being said, the first of three phases of enhancements to ‘My Files’ is here!… You can now save files directly to your ‘My Files’ folder from your SoftChalk Cloud account.
What types of files, you ask?
Well, in Phase One, you will be able to upload one or more of these file types at a time:
- .jpeg, .png, .doc, .docx, .epub, .xls, .xlxs, .pdf, .mp4
Step by Step
Quick and easy, you will have this process down in as little as 1, 2, 3!
- Log into your SoftChalk Cloud account and go to your ‘My Files’ area.
- Under ‘Actions’ select the ‘Upload Files’ option.
- Browse for or drag the files you wish to upload to your account and click ‘Ok’, it is that simple.

You will no longer need to use the SoftChalk Create editor to upload these file types to your Cloud account—although the old way still works. New and improved, we hope that you find this process easier and more efficient for creating your lessons using SoftChalk!
