Flipped Studios: Interactive “hands-on” lectures

Drawing on her experience teaching flipped handbuilding and pottery classes before and after the pandemic and online clay and design during the pandemic, Rachel will discuss the time management and studio/equipment access advantages of flipped and hybrid studio classes, and the ways in which SoftChalk lessons can simulate “hands-on” learning as a replacement or supplement to live studio experiences.

SoftChalk ScoreCenter: Learner Score Reporting to Your LMS or SoftChalk Cloud Profile

In this 25-minute feature spotlight session, SoftChalk Trainer Dana Thompson will focus on how you can integrate your existing SoftChalk lessons into your learning management system (LMS) using the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) link so learner scores report to the LMS.

We’ll complete a lesson as a learner and tour the detailed score report (SoftChalk ScoreCenter) that automatically populates in the LMS. We will also explore the SoftChalk Cloud profile based ScoreCenter which can be used for score reporting when you are tracking scores outside of an LMS.

Creating Accessible and Engaging E-Learning Content with SoftChalk: A Hands-On Workshop

This workshop will teach you how to create accessible and platform-agnostic e-learning content using SoftChalk. You will discover SoftChalk’s built-in accessibility features, which allow you to create content compliant with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and accessible to learners with disabilities. You will also learn how to use SoftChalk’s intuitive interface to create interactive and engaging e-learning content and how to publish your content in HTML5 format for compatibility with any device or platform.

By the end of the workshop, you will have the knowledge and skills to create high-quality e-learning content that is accessible and platform-agnostic using SoftChalk.

Fostering Connection With Students Outside the Classroom
