From the Editor - October Highlights

Hi SoftChalk fans - I hope your October is off to a great start!

If you haven't had a chance to check out CONNECT, our Learning Object Repository, this month would be a fantastic time to do so! You'll find quality content that can be repurposed and reused in your own courses or lessons. The content varies from K-12 through graduate level and includes a variety of subject areas and disciplines.

Finding and sharing content on CONNECT is completely free, but we're also really excited to offer CONNECT Plus accounts for a small subscription fee. The Plus account includes the ability to host content for delivery to learners, collaborate with colleagues or workgroups, create automated versioning and track student score data. For a limited time we are offering special pricing and free 30-Day CONNECT Plus trial accounts!

For the past few months our Innovators Series has been on hold, but it's back this month with a bang! Also, the Open Educational Resources (OER) webinar series will finish up with the fourth and final session. Last but not least, we also have a partner webinar featuring our newest partner, Intrallect. In addition to all the great webinars we have on tap, there are also a few articles you won't want to miss this month.

SoftChalk and Intrallect Partner to Integrate SoftChalk Authoring with Intrallect Digital Repositories

SoftChalk and Intrallect are working together to ensure that everyone creating content in SoftChalk can find media and content in their intraLibrary repository and include it in their SoftChalk content. The partnership also means that intraLibrary users can use SoftChalk to easily create interactive learning content that can be put into intraLibrary to be shared.

Intrallect's intraLibrary digital repository helps organizations to manage any type of digital resource. These resources can be openly available or collection access can be limited to specific users. In this webinar we will show how each product works and how easily they integrate.

Learn more about the partnership by reading the press release and registering for the SoftChalk / Intrallect partner webinar.
