SoftChalk ScoreCenter, a better way to track your students’ scores.

SoftChalk ScoreCenter makes it easy to track student score data, whether you’re delivering your content in a Learning Management System, on a website, in a classroom or “in the cloud.” ScoreCenter works with lessons hosted on SoftChalk CONNECT and is fully integrated into the Blackboard and Moodle learning management systems. Score data from SoftChalk content goes directly into the Blackboard and Moodle gradebooks.

ScoreCenter for Blackboard

Available for use with Blackboard Learning System 9.0 and 9.1, ScoreCenter for Blackboard is distributed as a Blackboard Building Block. It supports the tracking of score data from SoftChalk content directly into the Blackboard gradebook. SoftChalk recommends using ScoreCenter as the most reliable and flexible way of tracking student score data from SoftChalk content into your Blackboard 9.x Learning System.

To use ScoreCenter for Blackboard SoftChalk authors must be using SoftChalk 6.05.01 or higher. In addition, your Blackboard system administrator must first install the ScoreCenter for Blackboard building block in your institutional Blackboard system. Blackboard system administrators may download the ScoreCenter for Blackboard Building Block.

Other ways to track student scores

With SoftChalk, you can automatically record student scores in SCORM-compliant LMS gradebooks and track both lesson completion times and lesson status times for each student. This can be done by packaging your lessons and courses in SCORM format.
