Buy an external hard drive. What is an external hard drive? It is a device that connects to your computer by USB or firewire that has enough storage capacity for copies of all of the files that exist on your computer. In the event of a computer problem you can always recover your files from backup. You can buy an external hard drive from Target, Walmart or any computer store.
